The scope's Elite multicoated precision optics, for instance, are the clearest and brightest optics on the market today, producing generous 90 percent light transmission and crisp image quality. To protect your view during inclement weather, Bushnell added its patented RainGuard HD lens coating, which reduces large drops of water to near-microscopic specks. This dramatically increases light transfer and results in a remarkably clear image in wet weather. Whether you're dealing with rain, snow, sleet, or condensation, you'll enjoy a clear, bright view when other optics would be rendered useless. And like the Elite 4200, this scope is recoil tested to 1,000 rounds of a .375 H&H magnum, helping its shockproof body stand up to virtually any challenge. The centerpiece of the scope, however, is the DOA 600 reticle, which dramatically extends your effective range and helps you judge a buck's trophy quality in record time. Short for Dead On Accurate, DOA technology features Rack Bracket reference lines, which help you accurately gauge the size of whitetail and mule deer antlers at distances that are difficult for standard optics. Because these lines represent the distance between an average deer's ears, you'll know the approximate distance once the lines fit the image. It all adds up to drop-dead certainty and fewer excuses at the moment of truth. Offering aiming points from 100 to 600 yards in 100-yard increments, the DOA 600 is compatible with today's most popular deer-hunting bullet/load combinations.
