This new series uses only the best components and the latest in optical technology to achieve its amazing compact design and optical performance. The TSN-883 (angled body) features an 88mm Prominar objective lens made of pure fluorite crystal which completely eliminates chromatic aberration. This large lens has amazing light gathering ability and the new lens coatings increase the light transmission ratio of the entire optical system. Other features of the TSN-883 include the inner focus mechanism which decreases image movement while focusing, dual focus knobs for quick and fine focusing, and an eyepiece locking mechanism to prevent the eyepiece from getting lost or damaged.
